"I'll be home for Christmas," is a song that really makes you think about why having a home is so very special.
A home is not just a place to sleep and eat, but a place where memories are made.
One of my fondest memories, is waking up on Christmas morning, coming down the stairs and seeing the Christmas tree with all the presents underneath and all the stockings (my seven brothers,my sister and mine) filled with candy hung from the mantle of our fireplace.
One of the great lines from the song, "I'll Be Home For Christmas," is "if only in my dreams." When I was looking for my dream home, I knew that I wanted a two story house, so that my children could experience what I had as a child.
What is your dream house?
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays,
Cindy
I'm very excited about being a member of the RE/MAX Platinum family. I just recently joined RE/MAX Platinum, but I already know that I could not be in better company. I am very eager to help home buyers and sellers have a great experience and guide them through every step of the process. I want to build a lifetime relationship with my clients.
I am originally from Dearborn, Michigan and then moved to Florida after graduating from Eastern Michigan University. I lived in Florida for 14 years and then moved back to the great state of Michigan in 2008. I can truly say that Michigan has never left my heart.
I now reside in Brighton with my husband, John Harrington, and my three wonderful children.
I'm a strong believer in giving back to the community. I'm a member of the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan (GSHOM) and co-leader of my daughter's Daisy troop at Hilton Elementary. As a Girl Scout, I do live by the Girl Scout promise. Since moving back to Michigan, I have volunteered both at my church, St. Patrick's, Brighton schools and have become a supporter of the Alzheimer's Association doing the Memory Walk in honor of my mother and my uncle.
I enjoy reading, spending time in my community and cooking. Go Brighton Bulldogs!!
